There's a story in every dish.

When it comes to dining, we are often disconnected from the places, people and networks behind what's on our plates. Our fourth Origin Story is centred on Italian Truffles sourced from the Molise region by MGM Truffles

The Origin: Tesori del Matese x MGM Truffles

The family-run "Tesori del Matese," translating to the jewel of the Matese mountain, was born in the heart of Molise.

In Toronto, The Chase has partnered with MGM Truffles to bring you an exquisite selection of indulgent dishes this season.

The Ingredient: White Truffles

The white truffle is a highly prized ingredient renowned for its rich flavour and elusive rarity.

Since truffles cannot be farmed, they are chemical-free and sourcing them is entirely reliant on the expertise of the families who dedicate their lives to foraging.

The Menu: By Chef Taylor McMeekin

"Rare and sought-after, the white truffle is the epitome of luxury.

I am always grateful to work with this ingredient and excited to share the jewels of the Matese with our guests." — Chef Taylor McMeekin

The Wine: Small, Family-Run Producers

To accompany our menu of decadent dishes, our sommeliers have paired French & Italian wines from small, family-run producers whose businesses span generations.

Our exclusive selection includes some of the most renowned viticultural areas in Europe: Burgundy, Champagne and Piedmont.
